    Hi guys and gals,

Thanks for the speedy replies - even though SophieX and Clyde seem to go off on their own thing!

Basically I agree with Golth in his reply to Clyde. It would seem that the punters not turning up are ruining for the rest of us. I would say to all the escorts, take it out on them and not on the reliable punters who turn up on time.

Both Clyde and Mayasweet ask for patience but let me tell you, patience gets in short supply supply when you are hanging around a freezing street corner (with or without rollerblades).

I know saoirsemac probably had her tongue in her cheek, but let me say that, in my experience, most guys hate waiting around for their girlfriends - it is a major contributing factor in the break up of many LTRs. I know there is many sides to this story but it is often incredibly disrespectful. Also, we go to escorts so that we do not have to deal with the rubbish we get from our girlfriends (and some other things too!).

Finally, JMastodon, I find the same thing too - I am always too "nice" to ask what all the wait was about - maybe too "nice" or I do not have the balls - I do not want to disturb the "vibe" - after all, it is the fantasy we are after.

    Keep the replies coming.

    Happy punting

On recent punts, every time I have rang and made an appointment with an escort, I do the usual and arrange a a particular time (and place) when I will ring her. Each time I have got something like "I am not ready, wait five minutes and I will ring you back". I end up standing at (an often cold!) street corner like a wally waiting for her to ring back. Nearly every time, it is more than five minutes - more like ten minutes and sometimes fifteen or more. (This happens even when I got into the habit of texting in advance to say that I'm on my way and to confirm the time of the appointment.)

My question is: Has this got more common or am I getting more cranky as I get older? I can't help thinking that if someone was paying me €200 for an hour's work, I'd be on time!

I have also noticed that most times (but not always), the escorts who are not ready provide a pretty bad service. Has this being your experience? It has got to the point that I'm thinking of canceling the appointment after waiting for five minutes.

Recently, I had a particularly bad experience. I was hanging around waiting (fifteen minutes after the appointed time!) when a couple I know really well came walking down the street. I had an awkward time explaining why I was in their part of town without contacting them. I couldn't think on my feet and what came out was pretty lame.

I look forward to your responses.
I just turn on my heel and walk away when I hear those words. at 180 -200. euros per. hour . and usually I have to drive for an hour or sometimes two .

    You just never know!!

That few minutes not going to kill you or anyone else.
Okay, I accept your point Maya, the escorts have no way of distinguishing the genuine clients from the time-wasters. I'm assuming regular clients always tell you if they can't make it?

A regular Punter can be late also parking, meeting someone etc etc and as Maya said can chat a bit longer hence you have to wait.

    Hi Maya,

Your reply highlights exactly what I am getting at.

There are ways that you can expose time-wasters. For starters, you could post their phone numbers in this forum. Also, there used to be a forum where you could inform other escorts about bad clients - is this forum still going? If not, it should be. The main thing that I am asking is that you do not take it out on the reliable clients by not being ready at the agreed time.

I am not talking about getting lost in the building (that has happened to me a good few times) but those times I was not waiting about on the street and the escort was professional enough to be ready on time. Most times I could not understand their directions due to their heavy accents or mine!

The key point, however, is encapsulated in your quote "That few minutes [is] not going to kill you or anyone else". On the surface, what you say is undoubtedly correct but I could interpret it as you saying "My time is important and your (the punter's) time is totally unimportant even if you are standing around a cold street corner". Please tell me if I have misinterpreted what you wrote?

    All the best

    LBloom

PS I am beginning to agree with Nibb

i think turning ur heel is a bit ott, if she asks for 5minutes

as mention above u even said u can get lost, etc meaning, u too havent turned up at the exact time,

if ur running late u do ur best to tell ur client, i ask clients to confirm 30minutes before, often some dont until a few minutes before time, and since no confirm i might not be ready now,

there loads and loads of reasons, a person may be delayed 5 minutes, its inconvient, but in a customer serivce orinated job dealing with the public one expects delays, when they happen u try to let the person know, and do ur best to accomadate them,

there times u have clients whom a tazzer wud be handy to get them out, now thats is an unverisal issues, doctors face it with patients eldery often see the doctor for the chat more than needing cures, and delays happen,

to the clients whom, if there asked for a FEW MINUTES not 20 like who said they just left, have u never been late for a booking? caught in traffic? lost?

u need patients, but patients on both ends, its not a case of who time more important, its both of ours, lets not forget that

plus btw u drive an hour or two, asked cud u wait a few minutes and drive off? is that not an awful bloody waste because ur getting pig headed,

there is a difference between 5 minutes and 20minutes, btw if u say 5minutes u shud not take longer than that,

i get pissy waiting for shit and when its delayed, but at least if i know ok i have to wait but ill been seen at x time, i tend to get over it, if i decide i can wait,

also ever been in a supermarket, u run in for something take 20minutes coz tills closed, someone counting out the pennies,

its idealistic to think life will run perfectly smoothly and marching away form things because there a few minutes behind is a bit ott, u will miss out alot in life, coz there not one part of life which can and will face delays

u need to be realistic, and there line between realistic and taken the piss

and ps to the number thing, guys change numbers, and we get alot of calls, with most been messer trying to fully vet clients and having a flawless system, is again idealistic, u do ur best to cut down timewasting,

but often timewasters wont be ur reason to delay, its overstaying, clients late etc, there 100s of reasons,
