I was not criticizing you at all, just differing, and although I don’t agree with you, I have to admit your growing on me, at least you have not responded with abuse and hostility, in fact you’ve responded with very good grace actually and that should be noted. I feel you are obviously a man of great faith, and I would never knock that in anyone, whatever gets someone true the day is fine with me, honestly. It is just that my faith is one I have in myself, faith in my ability to make sense of the world and the condition of both it and the Human condition. I pray to the alter of my conscience and no other. It may well have been given to us by a higher power, I do not know, but if so that power also gave us the power to think, question and challenge the dogma that is so stifling to me of organized religion. I really believe that if you try and not harm anyone, that is all any Deity should require of us, grand job, open the gate Pete, make your way to cloud number nine, and don't forget to wipe your feet. I would not call Christianity a religion, it is a way of life, it is life itself. You can be religious without believing what you are following.

The basis of Christianity is Faith and Repentence and salvation! And all we need to do is Believe!

I suppose that answers the question on the voice of reasoning with our five senses! They are insufficient for supernatural things. Yet we believe in the supernatural.

Pastor QPH, do not underestimate yourself, you remind me of Moses, he gave more than 14 reasons why he thought he wasnot qualified to lead the Israelites out of Egypt, but he did. God uses ordinary people like you and me. Note here, there is only one God with capital G, the rest are gods and they can be worshipped easily, so you can call Openheimer a god if you like, and money can be a god too!

Look at our lives, we are in self denial and self deciet. We believe in God and deny His power. We choose when to relate to Him and when not to! Repent and be saved! Believe and be saved!
