Did you know that out of nine presidents of Ireland, five of them were/are bald? Very high proportion compared withe the USA who have had only six slap-head commanders in chief out of 43, and they had no chicks in charge where as we had two.

No one wants to be bald, no one. It's one thing shaving your head and having a hairline to frame your face, and another thing to shave your head because it's thinning, receding or to the point of were when what left grows, you get the dreaded "horsehoe" or the Mr.Burns from the Simpson style.

I started taking finasteride about 16 months ago when I noticed my hairline was slowing thinning on one side, it was terrifying because my hair is me, it's apart of my identity. Thankfully, since being on the drug, my hair has been getting thicker and thicker.

Looking good + feeling good = self confidence. You can't just "be confident" if you hate how you look. Go to any hairloss forum and see what effect it has on men, mentally and emotionally. I vow to never let myself get like them, that's why I'm taking preventative measure.

Depending on the severity, you could use finasteride & minoxidil and you'd be almost guarantee great results. Thankfully, I noticed mine almost straight away so I caught it early. Jumped right on it, went to a dermatologist and he gave me a script, told me he's being on it the past few years now.

If you were really desperate, you could use dutasteride, but the long term effects of that drug are unknown.

People are discriminated for anything the another person isn't or doesn't have:

Rich or poor
Tall or short
Black or white
Bald or long haired
Skinny or overweight
Wearing glasses
Camp or butch
Scrawny or heavy-muscled
Lazy or workaholic

...and so on. The point is that people care far too much on the superficial and disregard what goes on upstairs in the brain department.
