Default What books are you currently reading?

Just interested is there a current trend at the moment?

I'm currently reading The Great Gatsby, by F.Scott Fitzgerald. The movie was released in cinemas in Ireland today, I will view it after I've finished the book! I'd give the book a thumbs up, it's good!

Read a quote of Becks today. when asked was he a volatile player he said " well I can play central midfield, on the right wing and on the left wing " !! almost as good as the tic-tac quote

I am currently dipping in and out of...

You are not alone - Michael - Through A Brother's Eyes by Jermaine Jackson

Three Men in a Boat - by Jerome Klapka

Moll Flanders - by Daniel Defoe - (just started this one).

A Tiny Bit of Marvellous - By Dawn French (Bathroom book)

I'm a bit of a 'mood' reader, so pick up the book that reflects my mood and interest at the time.

Lean On Pete by Willy Vlautin a dark but beautiful story of a young boy's coming of age.

And Ron Nash's short stories - Nothing Gold Can Stay - powerful and hugely stimulating. I also loved his novel, The Cove

Another American author I love is Tim Gautreaux; bought his first book and sat up all night reading it and next norning i purchased his other three novels. Highly recommended.
