There is no question there is life out there, but what do you consider life? if you're talking about living, breathing bacteria then yes every chance of it but actual "aliens" no chance or an extremely low low low chance and in our life time..no? We would have to send waves millions of light years away to arrive at a distant planet then another million light years to get an answer back, we will all be dead by then. Could it be possible to "colonise" another planet, now that IS the question

Light travels at 186 thousand miles per second. Stars that we see at night no longer exist by the time it's light gets to us. That's only a small example of how vast things are. There has to be something more than just us .
