On a forum like this you should be entitled to an opinion and given equal opportunity to voice it. But if that opinion is just abusive, damaging or voiced to harm someone, their profession or reputation, then it is not an opinion, it's a hidden agenda, and therefore the entitlement should be removed, IMHO.

There is a big differance in someone giving their opinion, and just being rude. You have to learn which is which.

Opinions are like seeds, some produce plants that we eat, others produce beautiful flowers which brighten our world / lives and then there are the weeds, which we many think we could do without, but we need them to help us identify the balance between what is good and beautiful and and what is crass and evil.

I have learned over a lifetime that everyone has opinions, some are good, most are OK, but some should never have be voiced and when they are the do the owner of such vile opinions no service and they cause unnecessary hurt and pain.

I think that if a person truly believes something, whether or not anyone agrees, they''re entitled to their opinion. However with a lot internet forums people say things just to get a reaction
