Thumbs down golf and formula 1

no offence to anybody who watches that crap but its so boring...... im just curious as how do people sit down and watch it? like what the hell its sooooooo boring even more boring than my personality and thats saying something

what keeps you people so entertained that you watch that crap? how does that crap even get on the telly and the same as the tour de France crap im sure there is a lot more stuff they could stick on the telly rather than that boring crap

im sorry i just turned on the channel today to see what all the hype about watching golf was i was so bored after 10 mins of watching men walk around on the grass in slow motion with slaves carrying there stuff the rich little twats are so lazy i seen highlights on the news and there little slaves were holding umbrellas up over there head so they would not get wet WTF! why the hell hold an umbrella up for them when they takes 20 mins to take a shot and get soaked anyway??

Golfers do humanity a favour yee are getting paid enough anyway your not going to loose any of your energy holding a fucking umbrella up for yourselfs........... you twats!!

anyway i need answers how do people enjoy that utter crap

and yes i do hate them sports....... actually how in the name of jasus can you call them sports?

fuck it roll on the hurling and football the only sport that should be allowed on the telly at all

Hi Mer, golf is as boring for you to watch as soccer is to me. the skill in golf is to master 14 different clubs on different terrains. in different weather conditions. no other sport offers that challenge.

thanks thats all i wanted for answer as to how people can watch it but tbh thats not what puts me off from watching it, what puts me off it as the players are treated like saints and are far too lazy to even carry an umbrella after there shot!! so yes that put me off watching them been wheeled around like little rich puppies

I don't play golf but I imagine that, for a recreational golfer, TV coverage could be compelling. Golfers can imagine themselves in the position of the stars. If I was there playing that shot, what club would I use, how would I strike the ball and where would I hope to put it? They can even hope to learn from watching the stars.

There are not many sports where spectators can so easily compare their own experiences with what they see on screen. Sex is one for escort clients. I can watch some porn and relate it to punting experiences. How would I feel if I knocked on a door and the girl on screen opened the door? Sometimes, if the girl matches my idea of hot, I can get a real kick out of imagining a punt with her.

Big fan of F1 myself, heading to Barcelona in a few weeks for the GP which should be a good weekend.
