No she wasnt. State funeral....i doubt it,too many have a hatred for her, some would be mourning some would be partying.
Personally id throw her into a ditch, thats how much compassion she ever had for the people she made redundant, took houses from, destroyed communities and launched a totally pointless war in order to promote her ego and emulate Churchill. Nor to the people of Ireland who she obstructed in everyway to find a process to peace. Nor to the 'disappeared' citizens of Pinochet among others who she embraced with open arms. ....have no doubt,if she could of, she would of become a full blown dictator. She did for woman in politics what Idi Amin did for vegetarianism (how many women were in her cabinet ?.... time for a party methinks

None. She had no women in her cabinet. She was tyrannical, irrational, of a dictator cast and led the country and TS unions by the balls.

She also dismantled the old boys network, created free competition for all utilities, enabled the working classes to win homes through the right to buy project and stood her ground when there was little choice. She fought the unions, which some people forget were not always the best leaders. She enabled a culture of growth when prior to that you were chattels in a segmented market.

Margaret Thatcher didn't die today, she died the day she succumbed to Parkinson's.

The pain and suffering she caused the people of the six counties should never be forgiven nor forgotten Sophie, all she did was prolong the conflict and was responsible for the loss of countless lives here because of her attitude.

I only wish she’d died in 1979 as she’d have spared a lot of people unimaginable torture and anguish, so no I have no feelings other than hatred and loathing for the woman.

Weird reply this i know but........
Not so long ago i would have hoped that when this day came it would be reported that she died screaming!
It has to be said though (and believe me it pains me to say it),I have softened my opinion a tad in recent years
When i look around at the politicians we have on our own doorsteps you cannot deny that in many ways they need some of the balls that she had under her dress when it came to domestic issues and interference from the rest of europe too.
Britain was fucked when she came to power and it has to be said they were in a better state when she got her P60 (all things considered)
We were fucked when the current government came to power...and we shall be the same when they make their exit.Spineless bunch of yes men.

Id rather she was gone than still around because of her attitude towards northern ireland issues.........but i cant say i wouldnt rather have someone with similar conviction in Dail Eireann instead of the muppets that are there at the moment

LeatherHeaven never forget also she played an active and participating role in Britain’s shot to kill policy and state sponsored murder.
