they got a four months suspended sentence and 48 hours to leave the country. They were allowed to keep €500 to return to their native countries... It was on the local news here in tipperary. Sad but true
One of the girls was spanish i.e. from another EU country. The sentence she received was a custodial one, but this was suspended. Was this on condition that she leave the country within 48 hours or was it suspended for a period of time on condition that she not be caught reoffending. Does'nt sound like freedom of movement for EU citizens within the EU to me.
As for the brazilian girl, I hope that she already had a return ticket back home, because I can't see her being able to buy a one way ticket to Brazil with her share of the 500 Euro. But wtf, when you're earning a judges salary, what do the problems of the "little people" concern you.
According to trashtv3 its the hilton
I'm not sure I'm in favour of Ireland becoming the new Amsterdam in terms of sex laws. I mean, I think it would be cool, but I'm not sure Ireland's ready for that! I can't agree with a law that says two independent ladies working together makes a brothel though... Safety, safety, safety... It is no wonder so many ladies work in twos... Why make them criminals for doing so?
I totally agree Ireland is not ready it has been only a few years since condoms and playboy were banned . Hopefully it will change in the next few years maybe we will have an Atemis over here
Where u get it?
They were American....

TWO South American prostitutes who were operating a brothel from the Hilton Hotel on the Ennis Road were given 48 hours to leave Limerick by Judge Tom O'Donnell at Limerick District Court this Friday.
Both accused - *name removed*, 23, and *name removed*, 26, - pleaded guilty to the charge of keeping a brothel and were sentenced to four months in prison, but the sentence was suspended for 12 months.
Garda Celine O'Donnell, Henry Street garda station, told the court that both she and Garda Marie Armstrong called to the premises at around 3.30pm on Thursday and were acting on a complaint made by management at the premises. "On arrival we were informed of suspicious activity carried out in the room of the girls.
Staff observed a number of male callers calling to the room," said Garda O'Donnell.
Five mobile phones were seized by gardai, who found details of an escort agency and their website in the hotel room. The website, which was not named in court, also gave contact numbers for *name removed* and *name removed*, as well as parking facilities nearby.
The court heard a list of appointments, including a price list, was also obtained by gardai.
Judge O'Donnell said this was the second similar case to come before the District Court in recent months, where he was told of some "pretty sordid tales."
He said it was also the second occasion where no coercion appeared to be involved. He ordered that both parties should receive €200 from the cash seized by gardai (totalling over €800) to allowed them to make arrangements to return to Spain. The judge also ordered that all of items seized in the hotel room should be forfeited to the State.
Dont know why girls use hotel rooms for escorting, especially two girls in the one room it must have been very obvious to the staff what was going on.
I have gone to visit escorts a few times in hotels here in Dublin and have found it a bit nerve wrecking especially walking through the looby trying to look like a normal hotel guest heading for the lift and when you do get into the room and get down to business your half expecting the door to open and the guards to walk in.
I have decided no more hotel rooms for me and escorts. Also remember every move you make in the public area in hotel is recorded on cctv, some of the cameras you can see most you cant see.
I believe the garda not just alone have the names or pen names of clients visiting the two girls in question, but they also have cctv, which means photos, of the clients going into the hotel room. Guys, beware of the next knock to you door tonight. It just might be the boys in blue. But lets face it, if you were truely happily married you wouldn't be straying in the first place. Nothing gained, nothing lost!!!!!
