The kings of spin have been threatening this, that and the other for a long time now. It's obvious they have a big army and a lot of lives would be lost if this thing with the US/South Korea gets nasty but surely they are not capable of half the crap they come out with? Im no fan of US foreign policy but would they really be the bad guys here? I feel sorry for the innocent people on both sides of that border because it's them who will be taking the full force of the conflict.
It is a nut job regime that let it's people starve,if it does kick off it will simply be annihilated,with a great loss of life.

l think the current situation on the peninsula is highly complex and sensitive as China’s patience with North Korea appears to be wearing thin and only the innocents people r the ones to suffer....

what is really happenining there is more interesting. The north korea wants to rejoin the much richer south korea for
food and wealth and power the south korea is a ecomonic powerhouse.

the north korea never invaded anyone south korea invaded north in the 1950's got there asses kicked almost into the sea it took two serious invasions from axis american,british, other countrries , from extinction sea landings troops mainly came from japan occupation.
currently north korea leader wants great wealth and live as wealthy playboy rest of his life and army joins south korea will it happen i say yes and soon i say

That is true up to a point but there is one snag. The Norks have over a million people in their army and they are all getting the messages about the looming imperative to destroy the evil enemy and the certainty of glorious victory.
Are we sure that none of those million and a bit will decide to be the dude who fires the glorious first shot? Are we sure that the folks in the south will recognise it as a lone nutter or will they fear the start of the next round in the Korean war and respond?
It is way to easy for something like this to escalate.

As for the current situation, the last thing that the political and military leaders in the North would want is reunification. They would lose all of their privileges and power and they know it. Indeed many of them will be aware that they might face prosecution for crimes against humanity around the issue of getting rich while millions of their people starved to death.
Its amazing how so many people can be brain washed by so few.
