STOP Traffick! is a transnational project on reduction in demand for the sexual services of victims of trafficking. The programme will aim to develop a strategy, leading to the development of a toolkit of products and activities to raise awareness among buyers and potential buyers of services delivered by human trafficking victims in the sex industry, in order to reduce demand for purchase of sexual services.
More persons are trafficked for exploitation by way of cheap labour (in trades not in any way connected to the Sex Industry) than there are persons "exploited in the Sex Industry".

The toolkit and awareness activities will be informed by research on men’s attitude to buying sex in some of the participating member states and further informed by case studies documenting the experience of women and girls who are trafficked for the purpose of sexual exploitation.
Women also use the services of Sex Workers (Women pay other women for sex, and women even pay men for sex [albeit on a small scale]). In addition, men and transgenders are also active members of the Sex Industry. Why have none of the aforementioned demographics been mentioned on stoptraffick.ie.

Had a look at the site and saw no less than 3 references to Melissa Farley here - http://www.stoptraffick.ie/resources/

In Canada, Farley's testimony before the supreme court was discounted by the presiding judge Susan Himmel who said that her 'evidence' was mostly her own opinion rather than factual. Farley was also referenced in TORL's submission to the committee. I wonder are the committee aware of judge Himmel's findings?
