best, cryuff and pele all before my time, but was a huge admirer of maradona despite all his flaws. one huge advantage messi has over maradona is the fact that football is pretty much a non-contact sport now thanks to the divers and spineless authourities, hence the reason messi never gets injuried. maradona used get booted around the place most times he stepped out on the pitch, hence the reason his ankles were in bits by his mid 20's... and needed all that cocaine for the pain!
