I think this is a very timely opportunity to highlight Justine Reilly's involvement with Ruhama on Ireland's national airwaves.
I know people will probably mention yesterday's Sunday World, but in my opinion Dillon's articles are a secondary consideration at this point in time and it is more important to expose what Ruhama have done.

Fine performance agin by Amber - good to see almost universal support for escorts on the issue (though Niall's show would be generally pre-disposed to those of the more liberally attitude) .Amber made a particularly salient point re Dillon and Sunday World that if they felt that the woman in question was pimped, did they contact the Gardai with their suspicions ? We all know the answer to that - they really are a shower of repulsive fucks

Amber was brilliant bless her. I tried to get through all the way through, but got no where unfortunately. She could have done with some support.

Not one caller was against sex work, although some felt uncomfortable with letting workers child mind, O.K.. But I wonder where do Ruhama get all their supporters from. It's the same on other forums, the vast majority say legalise it and tax it.
Public opinion is not behind Ruhama so I hope our politicians realise that.
Amber, once again you came across as a very concerned person who felt nothing but sympathy for 'Rose'.
Those gutter press journalists have a lot to answer for, just a poor woman trying to make a go here. All the innuendos in the article about trafficking and pimps was just make believe to give the story more umph! Ruhama and that gutter journalist deserve each other because they both are full of lies, half truths, deceit and misinformation. Both are hypocrites, the paper takes sex phone ads and Ruhamas bosses know all about exploitation in their laundries.

I've seen dozens of threads about prostitution on Boards.ie, Politics.ie, and articles on thejournal.ie and the vast majority of posters simply do not believe that in 2013 consenting adults should be criminalised, hell even Dublin City Council doesn't support them, and why is that - because the councillors educated themselves about the issue and did not, as other have done, just swallow Ruhama's bullshit. If you watched the Nolan show on BBC Northern Ireland where Laura debated the issue with Morrow the majority of the audience didn't support it there either.
Have a look at these recent threads on Boards.ie and you'll see what I mean.

Unfortunately I only got the start and end of the show tonight so I'll have to wait for it to be made available as a podcast.

To be honest HMHD, i'd say most of those forums would have more male demographic tendencies and are likely to be more likely pro-escort than against.Having said that , I'd say proportionately more mature women would be escort-friendly than their younger sisterhood - i reckon that's because older women have more life-experience and realise that life is in no way sugar-coated and you'll do whatever is necessary to keep your life intact as was the case with 'Rose' . I suspect that younger women would be less tolerant of escorts (threatened by their sexual availability to men ?) .
When the streetworker was being interviewed by Paddy O'Gorman on the Pat Kenny Radio show about three weeks ago , she made a deliberate reference to the help the male garda would give her - thought it was an interesting emphasis at the time . Huge generalisation on my behalf of course but on the few occasions i've has this conversation with socialable company , i've found younger women more offended than understanding of prostitution with 'abuse of women' the core of their argument .
Of course , religious people ,irrespesctive of age alomst always carry the one view
