I'm always getting TAX and VAT mixed up and saying the one when I mean the other. I used to voluntarily pay VAT with my old business as I used to buy from the USA. It actually did me quite well as they ended up giving me money towards the end, as most of my suppliers went bust and I was paying through the nose for dropship services, hence I stopped.

I do my own book keeping, which hurts my head, but it also makes me use my brain, which often feels redundant, so not a bad thing. I do need to read up though, as things do change, like the amount per mile you can claim on travel. I think that has gone up 5p to 45p pm. It all helps
