The only thing that bothers me so much about all this media work, is that the broadcasters and journalists should be getting just as much thanks and recognition as they are the ones giving Escorts a chance to give their side of their story, clients on here thanking the escort's on their media work is all well and good just give a thought to the journalist for giving them the chance.

I would never that the media they can turn on you in a nano second but yes this time they deserve it ........ But this thread is about the personal attacks on Rachel ...

I dont know what work was done in silence at that time, I dont know what work they do now.

But, some escorts as myself want to go public with the sex industry and no way those people have to moan about it.

Each one on her way, I prefer the TV, they prefer the secret work behind the scenes.

Please, someone let me know what has been done or what is done at the moment so I can have the respect I showed to them so far.

Rachel mentioned in a post here “We heard about work being done behind the scenes, something I read about some time ago. Not even today I know in what that work consist” …………. I also remember this and if memory serves me right when Stephanie proposed to do something for the media the ensuing argument mainly accused her of being counter productive and damaging to work in progress behind the scenes.

Ohh, it's going on just about a year ago now.. (last March ?) :

Right after a TV special on our industry (where we were very unfavorably portrayed by the media), just out of nowhere

I got the idea that we too could make our own documentary, to put forth our own stories, shine a true light on our own side..

I put up a thread and there was a lively discussion regarding privacy concerns and logistics. It was a very well received

thread, went on for several pages, I got quite a few PMs on the back of it, had a couple of escorts that were willing to go

on camera, and I had two or three guys who were willing to tell their stories..

I had the cameraman, the editor, the facilities all lined up within hours... It would have been a winner !!

I and all the others were willing to donate our time and effort to do this, to do an objective documentary..




I still have the people, have the resources.. xx

I remember an escort telling you to get lost with your brilliant idea, cause they do a lot of work behind the scenes..

When has nothing to do what you are up to on your own with what others do.

If you asked you might be amazed at the punters that are willing to get involved and perhaps, as its the punters that will be criminalised, the punters need to be in the loop.

I wasn't suggesting that Rachel should stop using the general forum to discuss points, but if she knows about something that is happening and is in open dialogue with people of relevance, then it is a place we could discuss meeting up etc. With the majority of us being touring Escorts, there is an element of needing to be in the right place, at the right time, so as much notice as possible is needed to rally people together. It's also better not to discuss things like that on the open forum.

I think it goes without saying that we all did, she was a perfect spokesperson, concise and eloquent.


I agree with most of your sentiment but was there any need for that ? It just looks like a dig at Rachel.

That was probably the most relevant paragraph to the thread topic. Assuming not all the people getting agitated can be jealous, there must be a reason why there is a certain amount of backlash. On a personal level I have attempted to show my support to Rachel on several occasions, despite the fact she accused me of being racist. I put that to the side, but she still manages to twist my responses into a negative somehow. I find that makes me feel uncomfortable, so my support is now less vocal. I really don't want to be made to feel ridiculed or insincere.

Difference of opinion does not have to be met with a fight. I have to admit that I have been avoiding this page since I made my last comment, as I assumed there would be an accusation of being jealous, or something on those lines and I was pleasantly surprised to see a reasonable response, that explained a little further. It was refreshing and appreciated.

Oh and little dig??? Have you seen some of the comments made about me and other ladies? I was being polite and trying to be diplomatic lol. You can't bad mouth people and not expect them to react, unless they are lap dogs. Of course it is going to create a reaction. So I guess I'm saying, treat people with a little more respect and you will get it back two fold.

I have to admit I didn't know anything about people being two faced, which I think is what was being implied? It's not something you can see by posts, so I have no idea what is going on there, but then I'm not sure how writing a thread about it is going to help either, as the only people that would get it, are the ones that are doing it. The rest of us are left in the dark (again).
