Rachel you're not listening to me. I specifically said at the time that I didn't have a problem with what you were wearing, but trying to explain the views of others. It doesn't matter how much airtime you had or were expecting, it's about image. Some people felt the image was wrong and some people didn't think it was at all. I only commented, because you were going on about gucci and taking it to the other extreme, which wasn't fair on Lillian or UKHeather.

I wasn't trying to be personal, just talk about the debate on stereotypes and how we are represented. You can get personal if you like though.

Such a shame when you can't see when someone is showing support. You just love to hate sometimes

To have it planned to be in front of a camera and be criticized for the clothes on , is silly , to be criticized on it when nothing of that was planned and had no idea whats gonna happen is even sillier ...

Heather can not agree with it , yet she see it as a brave thing and presented her respect . No issue there, whatsoever..
Lilian went like crazy attacking and showing her disrespect for my yesterday work.. She can represent herself anytime and as she feels I am not in the same boat with her , as escorts, so be it .. yet far more escorts did show their gratitude and I only can say thank you to them ..

Much is written about how you dressed. Somebody else may have been more comfortable in a suit, but I feel you wore what you felt comfortable in, which gave you confidence knowing that you looked great.

That is what I was trying to explain too and in that case we are exactly in the same ball park. It was the reference to Gucci that made me think that Rachel had not understood your view point, so I was trying to explain in more detail.

I think it's worth pointing out that Lillian is in Derry and, as far as I know, works only there and occasionally in Belfast, so all the "why weren't you there?" comments are a bit silly.

I can honestly say that I think that's the problem Kate, because its Rachel, no matter what she wore, people would have found fault, as you said, some people just love to hate. I collected Rach from Leinster House and I have to say that she looked.........well.......anonymous, no different then a young mum dropping her kids to school, a hairdresser on her way to work or any attendant on their way to a shop. She wasn't over or understated, she looked her normal self. I think people are too obsessed with image. I'm not, I change my image for no man or woman and as someone that's self employed I'm proud to say my clients look beyond my image and choose me on merit, record and skill. Maybe, just maybe people should do the same with Rachel and LeBelle and also appreciate them for their courage their bravery and their conviction to help their fellow workers. I'm not by the way aiming any of this at you, I just chose to use a quote from your post as I felt it gave me a good starting point.
