Honesty in reviews.

Based on another thread here, I got thinking.

How honest should one be in a review? I visited a girl recently. Her profile advertised a tall slim attractive girl. Many good reviews had stated she was “Very attractive” and “exactly as photos”. I did not find this to be the case. I reviewed, she opted out. I did not describe her physically in any way in my review nor did I give any opinion as to her attractiveness. I did say that I did not find her as presented in photos.

I now feel guilty that I may have damaged her career. Should I? Had she posted photos that truly represented the way she looked I wouldn’t be here now, as I would not have visited. There is a market for all categories of girls, small, tall, skinny and curvy. Why put up a profile that pretends you are belonging to a category that you clearly do not belong to.

So if I find, after a visit based on profile info and reviews, I have been duped here is the conundrum.

a) Do I review and say that she is not as attractive as per photos and therefore go against many other reviewers. Should I give reason? And if so how explicit?

b) Do I review and lie and say she was attractive cos after all, this is her business.

c) Or do I not review at all and let the next guy find out for himself.

I used to be harsher in my earlier days, calling a spade a spade sort of thing… but of late I am more conscious of “This is just my opinion” and more considerate of a girl’s career before I submit a review. I try to find subtleties to air my disappointments and dissatisfactions as best I can. Having said that, it is quite annoying to visit an escort only to find reviews were not accurate. Why do reviewers state “exactly as pictures” when we are not. Are they referring to face only perhaps? Is this ok?

So what are the acceptable guidelines here?

I know in the past I have stated that a escorts pictures have been photoshoped or are out of date but this does not mean that she is unattractive just that she has not appeared exactly as in her pictures. You can be honest without it being in a nasty way and if my career was linked to my looks as a escorts is to a certain extent then you can be sure I would use the most flattering pictures I could find.

Every woman changes her apperance such as hair length style and colour and we cannot expect them to keep forking out for new pictures everytime given the prices photographers charge so I feel its perfectly acceptable to perhaps make a comment if you feel there is a massive differance.

A review is your opinion, I generally don't comment on a ladies looks in the wording of my reviews but on occasion I have said photos are generous or professionally done, I leave my opinion to the drop down selections and let others decide from there.

Always best to be honest, not brutally honest in that it might offend the lady but honest enough to be of use to your fellow punters.

That's it. Be honest...but don't go into the realms of a personal attack. The lady deserves respect, even if you didn't have a great time

I was looking at a review yesterday that states" the years have not been kind to this girl". Though it was a bit harsh, But all the other guys that reviewed her never mentioned it!!

unless I have been really disappointed with a visit I will not leave a negative review........I haven't yet

Regarding the escort in this question. She may have misled you and other punters with her profile and for that, she may have to accept the consequences. You don't have to be rude in your review, you can word it in many ways (diplomatically!) to get your point across. I find the reviews very helpful in making my mind up when visiting an escort and most of the time

The question is are they opting out temporarily while they argue with the admin to have the review removed, in that situation she is the one trying to deceive so leaving a polite but accurate review is more than justified, the way it should always be.
