undoubtedly for a club who can afford to spend 24 m. on a 29 year old and another 30 odd m. in wages, who'll have no resale value in 4 years time. unfortunately there are only 3 clubs in england who can do business like that.

in fairness giggs and scholes are the exception rather than the rule most players and particularily strikers are past their prime by 33/34.

Giggs' pass was basically the only good thing about that entire match from our side of things. Cole's two crosses and Collins two headers were very well done too though, can't take that away from them. They'll get hammered in Manc though.
