Have you pulled back on your spend for santa presents this years?? ie what % is your spend less then last year if any, for me the fucking cost is going up, was just adding it up a minute ago and i am spending more this year then any other year,

, (the fucking joys of kids even if some are over 18yo)

Dont know if I will be getting any bonus this year, Previous years I could nearly bank on getting one. Usually I would have it by now, So my spend is down considerably and one of my kids is expecting an iPad. I will probably end up putting it on the credit card!!

I think everyone is cutting back,most of the shops have sales going on already,feeling the pinch.

Christmas is just another marketing scam people get far to stressed about the whole affair. People are cutting back and not buying as much presents as before and i garuntee people will hav as good a christmas as they have ever had

Cut right back this year through common consensus of all involved. The adults get nothing over 10e, other peoples kids no more than 20e and if they are too distantly related they get FA. with friends/work ..nadir..exchanging bottles of booze/chocs etc out the window.
Partly its the recession, people dont have/or dont want to, splash the money around, but also it was getting out of control the amount of people buying crap presents for each other.
On the upside, were having fish fingers for Christmas dinner
