    Question The Hobbit

    Looking forward to seeing the Hobbit over the Chritmas hols.
    Has anyone seen it yet?

    i couldn't be arsed. went to see the first lord of the rings movie and thought it was the most tediously boring nonsensical shite i'd ever seen in my life!!

    I feel like that about reality TV. I love LOTR.

    The Hobbit is the first cinema release out in 48 fps which supposedly makes the 3d more smooth and believable.

    Just back from it. Its alright. Nothing particularly fantastic about it. Its a very high standard production and all that. But it doesn't add anything to the franchise except another shot at making lots of money. That's it really.

    The film itself is pretty good. I liked the opening 30-40 minutes, was nice seeing some familiar faces. Thought it dragged pretty heavily in other parts. Martin Freeman was good as Bilbo, but I kept thinking subconsciously "it's Tim from The Office!"
