What time is the end of the world at?

According to the Mayan calendar today 12/12/2012 is the end of the world, well its just coming up to 1.41am and so far so good no sign of it ending just yet, so does anyone out there know what time its all supposed to kick-off at because I don’t want to sleep in and miss all the action?

Not sure the Doom is up to 'Aliens' this time round. It's supposed to be more planetary pole shifts, and consequent freakish natural disorder. Hmmm... Don't things such as these usually take a while to manifest? Like 000000000's of years. IMO - We should be ok!
