Have you tried pushing the base up and then twisting it . Give it a go and if it works then happy days !

See thats why natural is best,we don't need batteries (ok some do,hearing aids),all we need is feeding etc and we are good to go,ok sometimes,shite,this is not going well,lol.

I've had to repair a few vibrators over the years (not mine, hers)
