British PM David Cameroon has made an announcment that it is thought that there may be as many as 25000 people
in the UK infected with HIV/AIDS that are unaware they have the disease. The risk this poses for a spread of the

Before there's wide spread panic - the figure of 25,000 in the U.K. is only estimate. So the real figure (which we will never know) could be greater or less.

David Cameron made the statement in conjunction wide AIDS/HIV day.

The message is simple - be careful but equally important - get tested regularly (for those sexually active with multiple partners -ie. us!)

There were approximately 6000 new HIV cases diagnosed in the U.K. last year. Almost half (approx 3000) were gay men.

So contrary to popular belief - it isn't escorts and their clients who are rampantly habouring and spreading the infection.

But the message remains the same. Those of us who choose to have sex with multiple partners, need to take resonable precautions and get tested regularly.

Good post, these results are extrapolated from some smaller set of data.....and extrapolation aint a very good forecasting tool!
