Neil Lennon and the Tricolor lapel...what is he trying to prove ?

Never saw it until this season. Is Lennon trying to prove something or what. Is this the usual Nordie ' I'm oppressed' mullarkey nonsense. And giving a job to the Donegal Bogball manager ! A political decision if ever there was one.

Sometimes I'm so embarassed by the Oirish mentality........or lack of it.

Celtic FC was founded by an Irish person. The spelling of the word "The Bhoys" was derived from the spelling system of Gaelic.

Neil Lennon does not design the Celtic FC clothing gear, Nike does, yet you take an issue with him wearing a tricolour on the tracksuit of the club he manages?

Its not Neil Lennon's fault if Celtic FC has a strong connection to Irish people and Ireland. Irish and Scots descend from the same tribe anyway, Scots are an Irish Gael tribe with blood kinship to modern Irish Gaels, the Gaels from north Ireland subjugated the picts in northern britain, then named the land after themselves, in ancient times all The Gaels in Ireland were called scots apparently.

Its called having red hair, Irish people and modern scottish people descend from ancient royal kingships. Its no coincidence why Ireland and Scotland has the most redheads. Red hair is a sign of ancient nobility.

Hibernian FC is another Scottish club founded by Irish people.

Sometimes I'm so embarassed by the Oirish mentality........or lack of it.

There should be no politics or religion or anything else for that matter,football clubs each have their colours and supporters and that's it.It should be about football and the entertainment you get from it full stop.
