Time for a check up

Been punting for quite a while home and abroad and never had check up. Don't think I have any problems but I feel I would like a good check over just to be sure. Anybody recommend somewhere discreet that offers a good class, reliable check over. Would like to get done in the next week so if I need to go private, let me know.

You've never had a check up before?? If you're seeing escorts regularly you should try make an appointment every 4 months or so at least.

just go to a GP that offers sexual health screening. Most GPs offer this.
IF you work in town just go to one of the GP clinics in town...
Its a much better experience than heading upto James hospital for 10hours.
You will be in and out in 15 mins, standard cost is 100euro, and you can have a good chat about any of your worries with the doctor.

You have to do it!! You owe it to yourself and the girls you see.

Any GP surgery preferrably not yours, will do. Make an appointment in advance and tell the secretary it's for a routine STD check. That way you'll be told if the GP surgery does routine testing or not. Most certainly will. As a private patient expect to pay about 100 euro.

Testing includes - a urine sample for Clamydiae and Gonnorhoea. And a blood test for HIV, Hep B and Syphilis.

You won't need a urethral swab unless you have an unwanted discharge emiting from your penis. In which case you should have gone some time ago!!

Anyway, all punters should go three monthly. You get used to it and get over the embarrassment pretty quick. You don't have to tell them exacly why you get tested. I reckon my GP thinks I'm a flagrant gay male!!

Also it's well worth getting vaccinated against Hep B - the other (next to HIV) potentially fatal virus - that unlike HIV has a vaccine.

Google STD/STI/GUM clinics in your area. You should get a list of private & health service clinics.
Phone them, book an apppointment & get checked. You should get checked on a regular basis as LDM says above.
