J.R. Ewing is one of my all time favourite TV villans and Larry Hagman did a great job at playing him. The man you loved to hate. He made Dallas.

I also liked him in "I dream of Jeanie" although admittedly I was more distracted by Jeanie in that series!

    May he rest in Peace.
A great actor - especially considering he was in real life the opposite of JR (a gentleman, an environmentalist and a lifelong liberal leftie).

I heard that first thing this morning. He was great as JR. Probably one of the best characters ever on tv. He was the opposite of his character in real life. He was married to the same woman since the 1950s. That's some going in the acting industry. I only saw one of the new episodes. They say it was during filming he died. Even though he's dead no doubt they will write a few twists in his will and one or two dirty deals will come out!
Help Keyla in her fight with cancer. Every little helps.
It could happen to any of us.

R.I.P to a legend of the small screen, in the original and new Dallas he dominated the screen with his presence, grew up with Dallas and watched every episode of the new one, it wouldn't have worked with out him in it,

Larry Hagman was a true gent....about 5 years ago Newbridge silverwear brought Larry and Linda gray(sue ellen in Dallas) over for a marketing gig for Newbridge.....On the saturday i was at Punchestown horse racing and Larry/linda where there with Newbridge.....during the afternoon i went to approach him for a picture and say hello but the owner of Newbridge silverware nodded no to me and looked like a right bollox....Larry saw this.....alittle time later someone tapped me on the shoulder on his way out too the toilet with his security with him he stopped and said would like that picture now......and the gave me the famous Larry hagman grin and laugh.....whole table got pics and quick chat......class operator......RIP Larry....thanks for the memory......you made our day...
