Dull or not right colors of image after upload

Just came across an interesting problem, that I think is worth to share.

One of the users came with a problem that after uploading a pictures to a website the picture became dull or less saturated. Way less rich than viewing on the computer.

The problem was that the color space was not sRGB.
Solution was to convert the picture in image editor to the standard sRGB and upload again. This can happen often when using products from Adobe because they use their own AdobeRGB color space.

I know it sounds very geeky but what you expect from me
