Just how the F**k did RTE end up making a brilliant, pacey drama like this? it's up there with Sopranos or Homeand. Beats the shit out of anything the Beeb has put out recently.

Yep, bit of dramatic license applied there as with the brothel scene. That was pretty corney. But I'll forgive them that for all in all its a racey start to series 3

I think its the best Irish TV effort so far, some parts are not really believable but its TV not reality. My favorite scene was the rape scene, punch in the face and then give her the ride, then to top it of in proper Irish style Nidge tells her, "it'll be grand"

Yeah well my favorite part was when you man got his head bashed in for the rape..Made my fucking night.. As far as the rest of the public are concerned they are quite upset over the rape and sex scenes being to graphic but a head bashed into the concrete well thats just great viewing!

i didn't warm to that Jiz character and was put out when he started raping that
girl so casually. it was great when one of the lads ran in and kicked him to the kerb.
it was great how Fran had the digger on his land for the drains.
