I'll let the smoke take responsibilty for what I'm bout to say but here, did you know RTE tried to kill it at first?
Post midnight showings and then for awhile they dropped it so it was only poorly subbed TG4 episodes you could watch. Hate it or love it, no pun intended, but tis a masive fuck you to RTE and launched many an Irish actors career without them having to slog it in london first. (or else be related to one of the many Gleesons')
