i think that the basic idea i have understood, and i like that fight against what is going on to us or what they are trying to do.

i am still a little bit confused, because you had the last few days some threads about agencies/pimps...that were not taken very well not even from me.i was thinking that is some sort of publicity for agency.i do not have anything with agency but for that to hapen this means that e-i wont be the only website to run in ireland.

i do agree with standing for your independent rights, and that we should be, most of all ,protected.
anyway i would like to know more things about whats going on and why not i would be happy to attend

I dont know how it is to share with more than 1, seems to be fun though.

What I think is that will be much easier if by law only 2 girls to share to be okay and more to be illegal.. Just a thought!

The only issue is it human trafficking and in order to make it harder we must accept the agencies as a help for new escorts.Period.
From the agency, the escort will move on and be independent like me and you.
So, for me, thats the most important to fight for: escort.

I am sorry, those threads didnt went well because I left myself trolled , wont happen again.

In Ireland quite a number of professions are controlled by licence e.g. Taxi driving, Auctioneer, Medical, Betting offices and their owners, pubs ..............just to name a few.

Any licencing of escorts will take into account a number of different aspects regarding their profession and that profession's interaction with the public, both generally and as clients.

If escorting becomes legal then the law will require certain standards to be maintained.
It will require suitability of premises (as it does with betting offices and pubs)
It will require that escorts have insurance to cover general liability, accident and property.
It will probably only allow escorting in certain areas and planning permission will be required for a place of escorting as is the case of pubs and betting offices.
It will regulate hours of work, not just the length of time an escort can work (as in bus drivers) but also a fixed closing time as it does with cafes and take-a-ways and of course pubs.
It may prohibit certain practices that are quite acceptable to clients and escorts at the moments such as working from a hotel room. This would be from an insurance point of view.

All of these things are just my opinion of how the government would need to control everything so as to cause it the least amount of trouble from the general public.

It is based on how they (the government) currently interact with other service providers.

The question of Gardai clearance, tax collection, medical check-ups will be secondary to any legalization, and will be trashed out as requirements rather than legal obligations as will issues of numbers of girls sharing.

The last thing that the government will take into account will be the the two people most involved, punter and escort.
Once all the legal requirements are met then they will have done what they intended (or intend doing)

Personally I wish you every luck in your efforts to get proper regulation but do remember that those you are negotiating with will have a different agenda from yours so do try to see things from different points of view especially those who will disagree most with your viewpoint.
Also everyone who is at that table of negotiation will have a different list of objectives and unfortunately yours may well be very far down on the list with those in power.

    Keep up the good work,
    Cheers

    Magicman,
    Thank you for your reply.

The reason of this thread is to gather some information on a possible agency regulation.

I know that people have a different agenda and arguments , I am working on that as well and I appreciate the support I get.

Possibly some kind of sex workers license and then just run it like any other business.
Pain is not a feeling an emotion nor a thought, Pain is weakness leaving your body.
