A pimp it is the person who controls , force , keep ID , not allow the escort any exterior contact without permission.
Agency do not control escorts, force to work and so on. It is indeed, a work time an escort has to respect yes, in any work it is those hours where you have to work.
Under the law both are painted with same brush, when I do not think it should and the difference has to be made. In the moment we put pimp same as agency, then, a person who force into prostitution what will be?!
We do turn blind eye to sharing escorts , by reasonable motives yet under the law it is illegal.
If we can see things right on that, why cant we see things right about agencies and the difference between them and pimps?
Trafficking under the law can be I buy a fly ticket for a friend, who comes over on her own will.
The term it is not used for what actually should be : force to come over, force to work and one point we miss it is that not necessary it must be brought from abroad in order to be trafficked, moved by force from Dublin to Cork and forced to work as a prostitute.
The main problem we have to deal and thing about it is how we will know which agency is good, which is bad, what escort it is really independent and not forced into prostitution. Now agencies do not advertise as such, making things harder for everyone. I think anyone got the point why those agencies were drive underground, so, I will not make the point again.
Perhaps we should ask from the new law to regulate the agencies along with 2 sharing to be legal and our clients to not be criminalised. Also , a good point it is the difference between agencies and pimps, even if under the law are the same thing, in reality are not.
