    Whatever about America, thank goodness for the rest of the world that Obama got re-elected.


    Romney would have been like Bush (junior) but without any real beliefs! In the abortion debate, he was pro-choice when he was running for governor of Masschusets. And now he's pro-life! Cause it suited better in his run for the republican nomination in the race for president.

    If you chop and change your beliefs to suit your situation, it says a lot about you. And that's not the sort of person you'd want running the most powerful country in the world.

    It wouldn't have made much difference in reality, the federal government would carry on regardless, and the power players behind them. The same in Ireland and the UK, vote for who you wish, it makes no odds, the EU still has you by the short and curlies and dictates your domestic policy. There is the democratic deficit, right there.
