i would class myself as a careful enough driver, but i ended up n the ditch this morning. That was because of the snow and road conditions.

But you have to drive in accordance with the road conditions, if it is too dangerous, don´t drive. You cannot blame the snow for poor judgement.

It wasn't poor judgement and was travelling slow.

If you went out in those conditions and had an accident with no one else involved then it was your poor judgement for going out. Denying it was your fault is just silly.

you werent careful enough or a good enough driver for the road conditions or speed you were doing or otherwise you wouldnt have ended up in the ditch.

The point im making is that the roads are more dangerous when there is frost and snow.

then you either make more allowances for it or end up in a ditch. I ended up in a ditch once off a bike and it was my fault as the cornor was too sharp. Last time I ended up in a ditch before that was if my mother had enough of me.
