Default Who's gonna win? (U.S. elections -Tues 6th Nov)

    Only two days to go!

You may not give a toss about foreign politics but the U.S elections is the one national election that has the biggest impact worldwide.

Not being American, I only care about the administrations foreign policies, so am hoping that Obama will win. If Romney wins, he'll likely be "a bull in a China shop" when it comes to dealing with delicate foreign policy.

Obama has made his mistakes and has talked too much I think, but he is still a breath of fresh air (after the two term Bush administration) and is a damn sight better that his challenger!

However, it is going to go down to the wire!

So who do you think is going to emerge victor?

I hope Obama wins. But it really could go either way and it wouldn't surprise me if the American public vote in Romney. Romney's very popular with the white blue/white collar work force Stateside. Many of them in particular are unhappy with Obama. So its difficult to say what'll happen.

That's what they are saying Ric. But Romney hasn't really said how is going to change the economy around. It's one thing to be a succesful businessman on your own, it's quite another thing to govern an entire nation with people from all walks of life.

Obama had the misfortune of coming in at the wrong time - with American in it's deepest recession for decades. There was no way he was going to satisfy everyone and get it all right.

It is going to come down to voter turn out. And I fear that the republicans may have the edge on that, but I'm still crossing my fingers that Obama will win (for the sake of the world!).

I hope Obama wins , he is what US needs and I believe he will be more agressive the second term around since he doesnt need to worry about the next election !
So when he wins the gloves will come of and things that need to be done will be done , God help America if Romney wins it will be a bigger circus then both Bush together and will destroy the little respect US has left !
