The true independent escorts have a rather subtle way of undermining agency escorts, usually for noble reasons but not always. After all, agency networks can sometimes have a host of foreign good looking ladies, that get more business and are arguably considered to be more attractive (to some clients, not all btw). Such agency escorts can be or are quite possibly even seen to be a business threat to older independent escorts whose price is usually higher.

Not all escorts have a strong command of the English language, so have teamed up with their comarades from their origin countries and come to Ireland to profit from selling sex, lower prices from such syndicates are usually a real threat to the independents business who complain about how other escorts are charging lower for sexual services. To be honest, you guys do have a right to complain about it, because you are contributing to the E-I community and arguably deserve an opinion about it.

Rachel was hinting on that and is making a good point, that sometimes escorts don't have a good command of english and do need help if they want to become an escort in Ireland, which in turn is a reason why some of those escorts turn to agencies to set them up.

Of course some women are going to be exploited when becoming involved with those agencies, brothel networks or gangs, thats a genuine concern expressed by many true independent escorts.

But sometimes the motive for attacks on agencies can be that agencies are seen as a threat to independent escorts business, hence thats why true independent escorts undermine agencies and usually for noble reasons but not always. They certainly should have a right to tell more about agencies and about how some are trying to run them out of towns as expressed by Heather in another thread.

Perhaps thats why some escorts advocate the swedish model, because they think they can charge higher prices if agency/brothel networks are ran out the country.

To be honest, as an independent escort who speaks English as a first language, I am not really threatened by younger, more attractive escorts entering the market. What I object to is an agency whose sole purpose is to get as much money as is possible, and will undermine the market with an influx of desperate women from other countries.

I like competition, it keeps me on my toes, and causes me to up my game. What I object to is having she market undermined, and destroyed for a short term gain. If the market can bear me charging a higher rate, as an older independent escort, why can't it bear a younger more attractive one charging more?

Thats where the dilemma occurs Violette, clients will see the independent escorts profile and see that they are not offerring all the services, while also putting a higher price for a limited set of services, compared to other escorts that offer a way more services for a much lesser price and are arguably seen to be more attractive.

What does the client with a hard on do with limited finances who has no idea about the escort industry? they will visit the cheapest option obviously even if the photo's are not verified, and sometimes will visit women that are being exploited under the control of gangs who constantly undermine the independent escort sector and forcing them to lower their prices and increase their services in order to compete.

Then people wonder why all the pressure from Ruhama and co.

Also clients saying they want this and that and OWO here and there etc is also creating massive problems.

In order to sometimes compete, escorts have to offer more dangerous services and lower their prices forcing them to question is it really a viable market to escort in.

Bareback is banned, its up to escorts themselves to lobby if other arguably dangerous services should also be banned, Ruhama especially are all over the OWO issue, the review system again all major ammunition for them to push their agenda that escorts offer unsafe sex.

i disagree that lower priced girls are practicing unsafe sex.
some that i know wont allow kissing. as i say money has a lot to do
with things. most of the workers in my Aldi are from outside Ireland...

Not in my experience, I've only been offered it twice in Ireland, neither of which were availed of, but that's in over 10 years visiting escorts.
