In my (all be it ignorant) opinion, an escort who must hand over an agreed PERCENTAGE of her earnings to another person/organisation isn't independent. So as an Independent Escort, you pay for your advertising, your hotel/apartment..... but the price you pay is fixed, not related to your income.

Ah I see the confusion .....to clarify. The amount you pay to the hotel is a set rate. Its is fixed as in "cannot be increased" just because you have a good week. Put it another way the amount you pay for advertising and accommodation is NOT related to how much you make as an escort. I hope that is clearer now.

The agency charge 120e, so the Escort gets 60e, so now she charges 100e and gets 40e more and can work to her own time scale, freedom to choose who she sees and work where she wants to. If she puts 20e aside from every booking towards her costs, she is still 20e better off per client and happier in her work. What could possibly be bad about that?

Well Rachel may have brought issue up, but a number of people then discussed, hence it was multiple persons posts I deleted.

Posting the circumstances of how someone currently works is out of order, downright dangerous infact.

She had a really bad 2 months with no cash left over every week, she said she wished she worked for the agency again no adds no rent etc. She said when times are bad in the business its better to work for the agency ....... interesting point I think.

I personally think 50% is very high and much higher than the percentage taken in England. Working a 12 hour shift for an Agency I think it would be fair to say they would see at least 6 clients in a day? Say that is approx 800e (likely to be much more) that is 400e for the day. The accomodation may cost them 100e, although likely cheaper if they rent it monthly themselves. Then someone on the phone, say 50e contribution, although I'm sure she would be answering the phone for more than one person during the day, which leaves them with 250e

I'm sure she would likely be working a lot more than that and earning more too, so that is a very lean day and they get at least 250e per day, per lady minimum after expenses. She however still has to pay rent or motgage where she lives and all the other day to day expenses.

Do Agencies over here pay for the photo shoot and advertising or does the lady have to pay that too? In England this would all be covered by the Agency.

I never worked 24h with an agency, some days I would have no clients at all.
