    Vaccines are always a good idea whatever our age or experience.
    The art of medicine consists of amusing the patient while nature cures the disease.

    1. Several of my Clients are vaccinated against not only Hepatitis, but also against HPV.

    Interestingly these clients of mine are in the medical field, have access to latest research, and they get vaccinated.

    Food for thought for the rest I'd say .

    2. If it comes up in discussion, I advise all my visitors to get not only Hep vaccine, but also HPV in addition to getting regular checkups.

    Cassandra, kudos for going for the HPV as well xxx

    Sorry for a most likely dopey question Steph... I never have a prob getting vaccinated against anything (science dude ... ), but might one ever have to answer why one has these.. or is it, can it be, anonymous?

    Hi xx

    Just now seeing your reply ..

    Nope, I do not believe anyone would ask you why you would be getting these vaccines.

    In this day and age (in my opinion) it is just basic common sense to get them anyways.

    HepB vaccine is mandatory for medical personnel, for health workers, for Search and Rescue people,

    it's also recommended/mandatory if you travel to certain parts of the world ... and

    common sense would dictate that it should be mandatory for all sexually active persons as well !!

    HPV -- there's still a debate amongst some, as to its efficacy (effectiveness) , but as I said : all Doctors I know

    (and there's a few..in addition to our Doc Love ), well they are all vaccinated against it (HPV). I am a firm believer in it,

    I am vaccinated as well.

    At my Clinic I pay for my work ups and vaccines, they do have my name;

    I do not know how it works in the free clinics, but I imagine you should be able to give a fake name if you are concerned .

    But there is nothing about these vaccines that should give you any concern re privacy etc.

    They can save your life. xx

    {but they do not give you license to act silly and forget about safer sex. Cover up !!}
    I do what I want. I cannot do otherwise.
