Windows 8 for PC

Any you guys see Microsoft unveiling its new Windows operating system during the week? Windows 8 they’re calling it and from my first look and impressions it looks awful. They’re bringing their PC operating system into line so to be the exact same as the Windows operating system they’re powering tablets and Nokia phones, this mean they’re all tiles and touch screen.

From what I’ve read and seen on YouTube its so bad it would really make me think of getting an iMac when I’m changing my computer.

Never liked using Windows Operating System.

I'm a Apple geek. Had almost everything from 3G iPhone to Air.

Using iOS x lion for iMac. Best operating system.

I’ve look at some videos on Apples operating systems for their computers and I can’t make top nor tale of the them DDS, they look very difficult, I’d be afraid to get one only to find I don’t like it, but if this new tile type operating system does do well and they is the way it’ll be in the future for Microsoft I might have no other choice other than to try and Apple when the time comes.

The only reason I do have nac is familiarity and comfort that I have with windows... looks like I lose that advantage with mac, so most likely my next comp will be mac..

Windows 8 users will be nothing more than Beta testers for Windows 9. Seriously, every second iteration of Microsoft's OS is utter crap. God only knows how many security holes Windows 8 will have with all the new features they've introduced so better to sit back and let the poor suckers who fell for all the hype find out the hard way.

XP was the only stable Windows platform... Mileneum, 2000, Vista and now Win7 & are all pure shite... I dread Win 8....

Before you splash the cash on an iMac have a look at some of the 100% free Linux distros available here.

windows 8 just looks like a glammed up version of the way the xbos home screen has looked for over a year now,

their trying to tie everything together like apple and google have and seeing as i m typing this on a com still using xp I don't see the need LOL

I heard its very sticky...
Its nice and beutiful, on the front, but when it comes down to processing power, its nothing on lucid lynx...

But that could just be the graphicx either...
