With the present legislation we put our safety at risk by working on our own in the accommodation and stay within the law.
People who do the human trafficking do not care what law say, in the first place, for what they do. Bringing into Ireland 5 girls is more like to separate 3 and 2 or put them all together ... The law was broke , make as much money and in case of a court case , say you have been trafficked and they let you go...
With the new law , we all are equal , pimped , indie , agency... we can stay 10 of us in the apartment, and there will be way much difficult to figure out who is who.
Where will be the discretion then?!

There is something a bit whacked out about the definition, what are they trying to say that if you suffer from:
    Push Factors:
    • Poverty
    • Lack of opportunities or alternatives such as little or no education, unemployment or low wage employment
    • Gender based discrimination including domestic violence
    • All forms of discrimination and marginalisation
    • Life with dysfunctional families
    • Economic imbalance between impoverished and wealthy countries/areas
    • Impact of political instability and corruption, conflict or transition of countries, especially war.
...anyone who helps you move away from that situation is guilty of trafficking, even if you pay them, or *THEY PAY YOU*??? Worse, that applies within national borders.

So, if you and/or your children *ARE* in any of the above situations you must STAY THERE INDEFINATELY unless you can move away without any help from anyone. (or is that "without any help from anyone except your self appointed NGO")

There is something horribly warped, about that. But then there is always something horribly warped about tunnel vision.
