Then why was dave1dave also banned today for having a comedy profile? A comedy profile which only had 7 posts - the last of which was in June 2011.

So you're banning two of the most respected posters here for doing what other posters have been doing for years and are still doing... something which has never been a problem so long as it was used for humour purposes and caused no harm or malice.

Is this really how the community rules serve the community, by using the strictest letter of the law. In that case should we expect bannings of pesky members for taking threads off topic too?

Is this REALLY how decent long serving members deserve to get treated?

I don't make the rules here , I just mod as best I can and out of respect to the community and its members ,I decided to post the reasons why .: doc

just wondering, its best to clear so no one jumps to mad conclusions
