Q1 In an international 100-metre sprint race, the athlete who ran the 100 metres in the fastest time was not the winner of the race. Why?

Q2. They had no one to beat but came in second. How come?

Q3. it is possible to buy wine flavoured with salt and pepper to use in cooking. But since you can always add salt and pepper to table wine, why does anybody bother to produce cooking wine.?

    Was it due to a false start - (To easy to be correct)
    Was the runner disabled and using the springs or blades (cant think of the correct terminology) and was not allowed as the other competitors said it give him an unfair advantage.

    Hold on..... It was only the heats, the guy won his race but never won the final !!!!!

    Q1 he ran teh wrong way. Or he was drugged up to the hilt
    Q2 a dog out ran him
    Q3 Because there is always some lazy sod who wont add it themself
    or Supply and demand

    1) Was it a relay race, he ran the fastest 100m but his 3 team mates were rubbish so they lost.
    2)Don't even understand the question
    3) Is it something to do with the fermentation of the wine and vinegar? Or does the wine/vinegar act as ain emulsifer to keep the salt n pepper in liquid form and not seperating out.?

    1) He actually ran the race in the fastest time, his foot was on the line but another athete put his head forward over the line thus the camera recorded him as the winner.
    You can tell I'm getting desperate now !!lol

    Cooking wine is just that, it's usually of a lesser quality wine and they use the phrase 'cooking' to emphasize the fact that it's primary purpose is to provide volume. Nothing goes to waste at the winery.
