Dinner with strangers

Rate this Entry
Hi Everyone,

I'm just curious. Is it ok to have lunch or dinner with strangers you just met?

I met a few people in Cork, Dublin, Kerry. It was totally random, I was just sitting at a bar, having something to eat and people came to me and ask if they can join me.

Nothing happened afterwards, it was completely platonic. We did Not even exchange numbers, just enjoyed each others company.

Now, that's very rare, that something like this happen. Could it be, that the other person just wanted the company of another person? Someone neutral to talk with about anything without being questioned or judged?
Or could it be just to relax and unwind all negativity of a bad meeting?

So what do you think could it be?

Any comments appreciated.

Sounds good to me. Think it happens more here in Ireland where people are more open to starting conversations with you. In the UK if someone sat next to me,my first reaction would to be suspicious. Sad really.
