Perhaps it might just be ...taking and accepting what you need...giving freely what you can and, most importantly for me.....wanting and being grateful for what you already have.

In the restaurant example you give, if one bank does not give you a loan, then ask them all. If the answer is still no, start saving then ask them all again and again.

How badly do you want that dream; are you willing to fight and spill blood and tears for it ? If the answer is no, all it ever will remain is a dream.

A good quotation from Christoper Reeves is: "So many of our dreams at first seem impossible, then they seem improbable, and then, when we summon the will, they soon become inevitable."

When i was younger i dreamed of becoming a winner of the tour de france; alas this did not come true but others have and more will continue to do so in the future. Ask nicely and i may tell you one of them some day soon
ohh I will ask very nicely when we met
But returning to the matter in hand, yes you acomplish them through faith and confidence and will but what happens after? after we acomplished our dream? are we ever really satisfied. I find human nature to not be satisfied. When you want a BMW and you get it you feel the joy at first but after you want an aston martin or in the case of a restaurant.. ok you did it but after you want 2 and after 3... we're does this lead us? a wholle life of trying to get what we want and realising at the end that it wasn't really what we needed?

Let's say that your dream is to open a restaurant but the bank crushes it because they will never give you loan...I think again society diminushes our dreams...

yeah but society often makes women feel inferior:
" ohhh shes's angry because she on her period"
"that's a man job you can't do it"
"ohh you're a single mother who works? Poor children"

I think women don't really get confidence from the society, well neither do men but women tend to be more run down by society then men

Escorts are probably the nearest thing to fantasy being realised but, outside of that world, making dreams come true is hard work.
The dream of mine that I haven't told anybody ... that is my little secret ... well, a secret is a secret after all.

A dream is just a goal without a plan. Planning is what gets you there, failure to reach a target is often just the result of poor planning. NASA didn't just wish their way to the moon , Beethoven didn't just hope his 5th symphony would write itself ;)

My dreams have changed over the years. They use to be very immature, vague yearnings for money and success. Now they revolve around my skills and abilities and they are more tangible. I've made them concrete by making plans, setting targets and timelines. I thought it through and I decided my dream will be my reality. The alternative is to live in someone else's reality.

I doubt that being 'real' depends on gender. It is surely as easy to be a woman lacking in confidence as a man.
Some societies make more demands on men than on women, such as being 'successful', 'strong', etc, which can cause crises of confidence in some, and this may express itself as an impression that "women are born with more confidence than men".
Women do sometimes have their confidence/status boosted by their friends, while men tend to be more likely to deal with 'issues' like confidence on their own. This, they believe, makes them 'real men'. An unwillingness to emote can be negative but in a society where everything is shared now, it may actually be sometimes refreshing.
