With Q4 I know I am right.
With Q3 I am probably right
Q1 could be right
Q2 has so many possible right answers that I have no idea and am probably way off the mark with the three answers but I really enjoyed the lateral thinking involved and look forward to more again.

Q2 Could students have rioted and used sample from some of the science departments as weapons, eg. acids, metals or stones and thus prevented that department from reopening.

Q2 maybe the prisoners dismantled the roof and thus the section under that roof was no longer usable and could not operate.

Q2 whatever was used in the rioting must have closed that section.
Did prisoners use kitchen utensils to throw at each other and thus cause the kitchen to remain closed?

Q1 did he need the tape to record a VIDEO that had its security tag removed so as to be able to tape a special sporting event, or maybe to repair the video tape itself.

Q3. the two letters S & E are the most common used letters so he must have used them in a crossword or other word puzzle where the number of correct LETTERS used were more important that the correct words, possibly a reward for the most correct letters.

Q4 Viola and Sebastion are Male & Female. They are also Identical twins.

The sacked employee was a warehouse night watchman. He should have been awake all night on his security duties. Having a dream proved that he was asleep on the job. For this, he was fired.

The two trucks were carrying ice. The older truck was less well insulated than the new one. Its ice therefore melted, making the truck lighter. It's tracks therefore faded.

Q1 he was sleeping on the job!

Q3 first truck had a leak and whatever it was covered the track?

Q2. Great attempt MM but not the answer I have.

Q3. Correct.

Q4. Correct MM. The man robbed a bank and was chased on foot by the public and the police. He threw away much of the cash he had acquired, which caused some chasers to stop to pick up the money and caused a rumpus that delayed the police and allowed the criminal to escape. The people who picked up the notes were forced to give them back or face prosecution.
