Correct Doozer as the sale and use of chewing gum are illegal in Singapore. Quick thinking there. Well done. :)

Answer to Q2.

A burglar had broken into the woman's house and taken all her savings. In trying to collect the last note that was stuffed into a jar, he tore it in half. She reported the incident to the police, and then took the half note to her bank. They told her that a man had been in that morning with the matching half.
Question 2
Did the picture have incriminating evidence ???
You could say it does Legs but not a vital clue.

Here are a couple of clues. :)

The criminal had committed the crime in the womans house.
The criminal had visited the bank.
The picture of the president is well known.

Was the person entering the data being lazy
You are far too close for me to say no Legs. :)

When data entry clerks entered customer records onto the computer, the date field had to be completed. However they often did not have that data, so they simply keyed in 11/11/11
Question 3
Was the survey done in the streets??
Or was it over the phone ??
Was the survey carried out this year??
Great questions Legs and I have no idea about the answers but here are a few clues to that question.

Although it appeared as though many customers had been born on November 11, the real distribution of births of the company's customers was not unusual.

All the data had been entered on a computer database.

The customers appeared to have birthdays on November 11, 1911
