I was raised to respect everyone, but respect is a two way street. I will always give respect, but if it is not returned then I just avoid the person who can not or will not return what is a basic courtesy. As to your point of respecting our mothers is it not they who have instilled values in us as they raised us. The time and effort our mothers invested in us last a lifetime and although mine is no longer in the land of the living I think of her daily and quietly thank her for setting me on a good road in life.
I think you are write, Alexa. However, I've met a guy who was a total idiot and he treated her mom very well, while at the same time mistreating his wife badly. Maybe he shouldn't be taken into account because he wasn't exactly normal (I mean, he was really mean).

Yes, I think people around you play a very big roll in giving you confidence , praising you when you do things and spending time to listen to you so that you feel worthy. You also gain your own confidence from achieving things yourself and from life experience itself. People have different types of confidence too. They may be very confident at work but have no confidence socially. I think good looks can help give you confidence . Would you agree ?
I don't find any pain in wearing heels as long as you choose the right shoes, the perfect ones for your feet... and i think they really suite my long lengs ..making them glow ... so definetly not a fashion for me as i wear whatever my mood says to me..or whatever i feel confortable in
Heels? Always wondered why women seem like to wear high heels. I know you can spend a lot of money on them but does it give you something extra or is is simply fashion that dictates the height of the heel, like the shortness of the skirt, etc? Basically, it it worth the pain? Clearly, not something a mere man can understand - most us would never try to walk in your shoes ...
