Rent hasn't dropped eather
Lately i asked one of the girls how business was doing and what about the prices. She told me, that the rent she was paying hat not changed and neather had the price for advertising on EIs site:). Her costs had not dropped a penny since the recesion started so she could not see why she should dropp prices. She said also that business wasn't as good as it used to be, but good customers continue to come on a regular basis. For good costumers she had allready done before the recesion some kind of discounts from time to time and she would continue doing so, but she never would do a general adjustment of her prices. She thinks that this also would atract the kind of customers that she does not want. She prefered to have less business with good customers that treat her like a lady then a lot of business with any kind of customers. I gues there she has a point:p
recession rates? what about recession causes?

Go back to the late 90's when there was a plentora of massage parlours-what happened to them? The Garda, and why did they close the massage parlours? Because of a ''fat' IRISH bald guy and his Northern Irish sidekick, oddly enough, these two still run brothels and own escort websites-GOOD JOB GARDA:mad:
And what happened to print advertisements for prostitution?(the In dublin magazine)? The stories vary from a disgruntled IRISH punter who complained to the Censor board because he had his pension eaten away by an IRISH working-girl and a IRISH madame or that one of these escort websites complained as well to the Censor as way of getting rid of the competition-now, that's very IRISH:rolleyes:
But look again at the late 90's and there was price differentions between the escorting world and massage parlours, but that changed when the IRISH got rid of print advertisements and closed the massage parlours. Prostitution went further underground and as a result people solely advertised on the NET which you only, at the tiime , reached less than 10% of available client base, moved into espensive apartments and if you came from a massage parlour background, charged an additional 40 irish pounds more, but remember over-heads higher, garda and newspaper presence more pronounced, and the client base wasn't even there.
And don't even talk about the availability of quality escorts-hardly any, and the ones that you did get were English, but at time, the IRISH were in their anti-English girls mode and didn't really want them.talk about beggars being choicey:rolleyes:
But your a 'looks' man so I'm going to tell you a little story about Sandra and Elane. They use to work at a knocking shop on Dorset St.-talk about ugly and old? These bitches could have won first prize on the $1.98 Beauty Pagent:p but no matter how young, how pretty, how exotic a working-girl was, when she came to do a shift at this place, Sandra and Elaine had to beg the clients to stay with her. I don't know what these two were doing in the rooms, but whatever it was clients would only stay with them. And they were Irish, too
BLAME THE IRISH, NOT WORKING-GIRLS
that's quite a rant yu went on Anita.
but i have a question.
if the net was only covering 10% of the client base - it must have been a big improvement on just the In Dublin magazine!!
To be honest, no escort is going to drop her prices while she can command her current rate.
If Brenda is still getting at least 6 punters at 150 a half hour, then why would she willingly drop to 100?
There have been numerous posts here about prices dropping since the recession kicked in.
I find it interesting that no one has any issue with the escort's actual role in it.
Take Brenda's example of 6 punters for 150quid - €900.
Would she see 6 punters a day? 3 hours 'work'? possibly.
so take a typical 5 day working week - that means Brenda is taking in 4500 a week.
Is she declaring any of that as income?
Is she paying any tax?
Is the bulk of the money not leaving the country along with Brenda on her trips home?
I'm not having a go at Brenda in particular, i am using her as an example.
allowing 6 weeks off a year, that is 207,000 gone from our economy through just one escort in the space of 12 months!
thats alot of money and alot more when multiplied by even just the number of escorts advertising on this site.
