I wouldn't call a receptionist a pimp, they provide a service for which they are paid for. However, while I am sure, that there are good receptionists too, I heard many negative stories. Since they work on a commission, they will not filter the clients, they will send to the girl as many as possible, so they can make good money. And this is very dangerous for a girl's safety. Or they will promise services the girl doesn't actually provide. And there comes the disappointment that the agreed service was not provided plus the girl speaks no english, difficult or impossible to discuss anything. But as a client, you won't know this until you are there.
I don't know much about agencies in Ireland, I only heard about one bad one.
Now regarding girls with real pimps, maybe some signs such as cheap prices with any and every favourites available, no professional pictures, opt out reviews. Or maybe the girl's behaviour, attitude.
