    Talking First 30 hours :)

    Hy everyone

I wanted to share something with all of you here...i've been trying for a while now to quit smocking..tried everything from chewing gum...to patches..nothing worked. But now i think i just got sick of them so i just stopped, yesterday morning...and this morning i felt great ..was so proud of me even had my coffeeeeee and didn't felt the need of a cigarette ...i am amazed what the power of mind can do?

So how was the first day without cigarettes for you?

I quit at 7 years ago, the first 2 weeks were a breeze for me, there was a few days after those initial weeks that I would have killed for one. Don't miss them at all, and I doubt I'd ever start again.

Keep up the good work, Alexa.

I've tried to quit 1897 times, nothing worked. I'd be back on them the moment I'd have one. But once it just so happened when I didn't even meant to quit, that all of a sudden I just wasn't interested in them anymore. Something just clicked in my brain and that was all it took. I was of them for 3 years. Then I started again but since living in Ireland I discovered that I don't need to smoke when there are no smokers round me. So I would only smoke once or twice a month when socializing. The problem is that I've been socializing too much lately and also had a lot of stress, so didn't manage to quit again. But now I have to since have a lot of new hobbies I need to pay for. Fingers crossed.

    sounds good for you babe!

there was a lady on the telly this morning
who is also quitting and she said it was extremely difficult.

i would be cautious yet because it generally takes a long time to quit tobacco.
i hope you are an exception and just someone who is truly sick of it. x

To be honest now i am thinking that i don't wanna start again hope i will have the strengh to keep that in mind. I've read yesterday that the body of someone who smokes...it's getting back to a normal health in about 10-15 years... and the amount of money we pay for that...incredible

you are so right, the power of the mind.

you are a very beautiful woman . concentrate your mind on how those cigarettes are polluting and destroying that beauty and in time will age you long before your time. keep up the good work and prepare to fight those dark times, which will come, when you will want to reach out for the comfort of those dangerous friends !
