The running cost on a so called "luxury" car is silly, god help you when you need to change a tiny part. Lol.

Im going to buy something i can cart the dogs about in and not care when they ruin it
Ah I never keep them for more than 2 years, everything including the service is covered under warranty

The Arteon isn’t that pricy really, fully loaded at 55k, mid range these days

So why am I getting rid of the LDM-Mobile? feckin' thing's on its last legs, the old banger of a thing, and it'd be cheaper to buy a new car than get the old wreck fixed.

I honestly spend more time contemplating meeting a girl here than I do when buying a vehicle.

If reliability and economy are high up your list and a prestige badge is not important ,its hard to look past a Toyota Camry on that budget.

I like cars. I like driving all kinds of different cars, and I'm no expert. Just don't ever consider a Hyundai. Absolute waste of money.look nice, loaded with stuff. Breaks down when the wind blows
Toyota or VW for reliability. Skoda is a fine car. Saloon, for commuting driving, plug in hybrid. Plug in gives a bit of range before go go juice kicks in.
I've a rav4 plug in hybrid. Big car, moves like fucking lightning and runs on the battery in town for about 50kms (I plug it in and it charges at 2am). Love it, my 3rd rav!

Oh I’m still undecided, that superb sportline is good value, a lot of extras for 3k less than the VW 🤷

I had a rental Skoda Octavia 1.0 petrol.
It was unbelievably quick for a 1.0.
I remember thinking it's all you really need in a car.
Good radio too, android auto, worked better than the radio in my car
